Women are unique, as are their stories

Despite the universal nature of the journey taken, each and every path is unique in its details. Menopausal experiences are highly diverse not only on a symptomatic but on a cultural, societal, ethnical, genetic, lifestyle, health condition... etc. level, as well. At the end of the day, there is no one size fits all solution to everyone. It is definitely a specialist (gynecologist) who can make reliable diagnoses. Please, visit your professional in case of any symptoms.

Background of the stories:
We created fictive stories based on learnings from target group interviews.
The aim of the target group interviews was to explore how women think of menopause, and how their attitude towards different treatments and remedies evolve as time passes by. We investigated how they learn about the whole phenomena and get to know their own symptoms, with a special focus on the role of online resources and digital tools.
Methodology - we believe that the best way to properly understand the process women go through with all the underlying feelings and motivation is to conduct one on one interviews with those involved.
The interviews were online and semi-structured, meaning that although we did not have a script, rather a guide than a strict agenda to these conversations. This way we had the opportunity to unfold subjects we had not expected coming up before.
We had 10 interviews set up with participants from the UK, USA, France, Hungary, and Australia.
